Overview

Solve Pilot is operated by Solve Pilot Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Solve Pilot website, userscript, and related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the product, your coursework content belongs to you, and we never sell your personal data.

Information We Collect

  • Account information. Name, email address, and profile picture when you sign up with email or Google. Optional onboarding answers such as education level and how you found us.
  • Coursework content. The questions you ask Solve Pilot for help with and the answers and explanations it returns. This content is private to your account.
  • Questions you submit for assistance. When you ask Solve Pilot to analyze a question, the visible question content is processed by our AI provider to generate a recommendation. We do not use your questions to train AI models.
  • Usage and device data. Basic analytics such as feature usage, browser type, and approximate region, used to improve the product and diagnose problems.
  • Payment information. Handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card details.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Solve Pilot's features
  • Sync your settings and question history across devices
  • Process subscriptions and send billing receipts
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send product updates you can opt out of at any time
  • Detect abuse and keep the service secure

How Your Data Is Protected

Coursework content is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. Authentication and data storage are handled by Supabase with row-level security, meaning your content is only readable by your account.

Third-Party Services

We share data only with the service providers required to operate Solve Pilot:

  • Supabase — authentication and encrypted data storage
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google — optional sign-in with Google, and AI processing of questions you submit

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your coursework content from our systems within 30 days. To exercise any of these rights, email support@solvepilot.app.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and lightweight analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children's Privacy

Solve Pilot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced by email or in the product before they take effect.
